🌍 About the Fellowship

The MAP Academy & Nalli Fellowships support early- to mid-career professionals and collectives undertaking projects on South Asian textile traditions. Each fellowship provides a one-time grant of INR 5,50,000 to enable innovative research, documentation, or creative work exploring under-researched textile histories and practices.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Early- to mid-career individuals, researchers, designers, writers, educators, practitioners, or collectives.
Projects must focus on South Asian textiles (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tibet).
Applicants may be based anywhere in the world (open to Malaysians).
Ability to complete the project within one year.
Submission of final deliverables: research dossier, project report, and creative/research outputs.
