🌍 About the Scholarship
The SBW Berlin Scholarship fully funds socially committed international students studying in Berlin or Potsdam. Recipients are expected to develop and run social projects during and after their studies, fostering sustainable social impact in their home countries or Germany.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Aged 18–30 years
- International student not residing in Germany for more than 18 months before application
- Strong academic record (~German GPA ≥ 2.0)
- Volunteer or professional experience in non-profit/social sectors, verified by recommendation letters
- Enrolled or applying to a degree program in Berlin or Potsdam
- Low-income household background, no close relatives in Germany
- Commitment to work 18 months in home country post-study or repay scholarship
