🌱 About the Award
The SEAMEO‑Japan ESD Award 2025 honors Southeast Asian schools advancing disaster risk reduction through community collaboration and traditional/local knowledge. Schools are recognized for creative, ongoing or completed projects that integrate ESD into disaster preparedness using local wisdom.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Open to public and private schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12)
- Must be located in SEAMEO member countries (including Malaysia)
- Only one entry per school is allowed
- Schools that were shortlisted or awarded from 2020–2024 are not eligible
🎁 Awards & Benefits
- Winner receives a study visit to Japan
- Recognition across Southeast Asia
- Participation in regional exchange activities and the award ceremony

- Download the guidelines and submission document.
- Prepare the following:
- A 3-minute video (with English subtitles if not in English)
- Up to 5 photos and 2 supporting documents (optional)
- Upload your completed form and media via the Google Form submission link.
- Retain your editable form link to make changes before the deadline.
