Evidence for AI in Health (EVAH) RFP

The EVAH initiative is currently accepting proposals for its Spring RFP, focusing on locally-led evaluations of AI-enabled clinical decision support tools (CDSTs). These tools are designed to assist frontline health workers with clinical tasks in primary and community health care settings. The initiative supports two funding pathways: one for early deployment evaluations and another for rigorous impact evaluations of tools ready for scale. Proposals must be led by institutions based in the regions of focus, including Southeast Asia, and should aim to inform health ministries and implementers on the integration of AI in health care. This initiative is crucial for ASEAN countries as it promotes the integration of innovative AI technologies in health care, potentially improving health outcomes and system performance in the region.
