Eligibility criteria differ by country page, but generally include nationality of the listed ASEAN country, proficiency in English, strong academic performance, and participation in co curricular activities. Age or date of birth ranges and entry levels differ by scholarship type and are defined on each country specific page. Applicants must apply within the published window for their country and level.

Details from the provider

The ASEAN Scholarship supports students from ASEAN countries to study in Singapore at selected secondary schools and junior colleges. The scholarship is designed to build people to people links and develop leadership, communication and life skills. Application windows open and close by country and by entry level. For example, for Malaysia the application period for Secondary 1 and Secondary 3 runs from 5 Jan to 27 Feb 2026, and for Pre-university 1 runs from 5 Jan to 30 Mar 2026, with selection tests and interviews held in multiple cities subject to shortlisted candidate numbers.
