The Bonn International Fellowships 2026 invite outstanding international scholars to engage with the University of Bonn’s academic community. Fellows will participate in seminars, lectures, and collaborative research, building the foundation for long-term academic partnerships.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

Employed outside Germany at a university or research institution
Hold a PhD or equivalent, with strong international recognition
Must be nominated by a University of Bonn faculty member (host must hold a doctorate)
Willingness to actively engage in Bonn’s academic life during the stay
