🌍 About the Program
The Foreign Investment Accelerator Fund (FIAF) is a Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) initiative designed to attract high-quality foreign direct investments (FDIs) in alignment with the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030. The fund supports research, development, innovation (R&D&I), and technical training activities that enhance Malaysia's industrial competitiveness and foster workforce upskilling.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Company must be incorporated under the Companies Act 1965/2016.
- Possess a valid business license from a local authority.
- Engaged in manufacturing activities under the Industrial Co-ordination Act 1975 or in specific services sectors.
- Operational for at least 3 years in Malaysia or other countries, with a proven track record in the relevant industry.
- Undertaking new or additional investments in targeted manufacturing or services activities.
- Meet all prerequisite criteria and conditions as stated in the official guidelines.

📝 How to Apply
- Prepare necessary documents, including:
- Latest SSM Company Profile (e-Info).
- Business license from local authority.
- Manufacturing license or confirmation letter exempting from ML (for manufacturing companies).
- Relevant licenses or support letters from ministries/agencies (for services companies).
- Supporting documents for the proposed project.
- Submit the application online via https://investmalaysia.mida.gov.my/.
- Pay a non-refundable evaluation fee of RM12,000.00 upon submission.
- MIDA will screen the application and issue an Acknowledgement Letter if all information is complete.
- The National Committee on Investment (NCI) will evaluate and decide on the application.
- If approved, MIDA will issue an offer letter; the company must sign and return the Grant Agreement within 30 days.
- Undertake the approved project and submit claims for disbursement within the grant period.
- MIDA will conduct an audit visit and, upon approval, disburse the grant accordingly.

- Claim Submissions: At least every 12 months, with a maximum of two tranches
