📌 About the Award

Wellcome aims to fund high-impact projects that combine evidence generation with engagement strategies to make health impacts of climate change visible and drive policy action. The award supports community-engaged and transdisciplinary research addressing climate-attributable health outcomes. Projects should elevate underrepresented voices and narratives, and provide data that can be scaled and translated into policy across different regions.

20% time commitment
Holds a long-term contract for project duration

Co-applicants

Up to 7 co-applicants globally (excl. China)
Each with 20% time commitment
Essential for research, training, or engagement

Admin. Organisation

Must agree to Wellcome's terms
Based outside mainland China
Capable of managing large complex grants
