🌍 About the Fellowship
The Commonwealth Professional Fellowships enable mid-career professionals from developing Commonwealth nations to spend 6–12 weeks in the UK working with host organisations aligned to their sector. Fellows enhance their skills, build global networks, and strengthen their development impact at home, in line with one of the CSC’s six development themes.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Citizen, refugee, or British-protected person from an eligible Commonwealth country
- Minimum five years’ relevant full-time professional work experience
- Currently employed and expected to return to your role after the fellowship
- Not have undertaken a Commonwealth Professional Fellowship in the past five years
- Not applying for academic research or degree-based study
- Two references required, including one from current employer
🎁 Fellowship Benefits
- Monthly stipend: £2,057 outside London / £2,523 in London
- Arrival allowance of up to £1,183
- Return airfare to/from the UK
- Visa fee reimbursement
- Up to £2,000 support for short courses or UK travel integral to the fellowship
- Additional support for disability-related costs (if applicable)

- Access the online application form through your nominating agency or CSC portal.
- Prepare required materials: personal and employment details, proposed development impact statement, and two references (one from your employer).
