The SG Academies South-East Asia Fellowship (SASEAF) Programme supports postdoctoral researchers from ASEAN countries to conduct impactful research in Singapore. It aims to strengthen regional research collaborations and provide professional development to fellows.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Citizen of ASEAN country (excluding Singapore)
- PhD degree from a reputable institution
- Currently employed or have confirmed job offer at a public-sector research entity in home country
- Under 40 years of age at time of application
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Malaysian nationals are eligible
🎁 Benefits
- Monthly stipend of S$4,000 to S$6,500 based on experience and performance
- Additional S$4,000 for overseas travel at start and end of fellowship

📝 How to Apply
- Review eligibility criteria.
- Identify and contact a potential host professor/PI in a Singapore research institution.
- Develop a research proposal with the host professor/PI.
- Obtain in-principle approval from the host professor/PI.
- Complete the application form.
- Compile all required documents into a single PDF file.
- Submit the application via the designated portal at snas.org.sg/saseaf.
